📋 Description

• Act as primary support and day-to-day client contact for client service teams and operations • Maintain client records, system defaults, tariff databases, associated vendors and keywords • Facilitate release and entry summary completion • Manage client and customs process activities, including release support, classifications, compliance and auditing • Build and maintain working relationships with clients and carriers • Prioritize and complete work according to client needs, customs requirements and Livingston standards • Verify documentation for release, compliance and rating requirements • Create, maintain and follow client SOPs and ESPs • Ensure accurate and timely shipment release and rating across transportation modes • Audit work completed by Release Pool or NSC in Air/Sea locations • Support, guide and mentor Release Operations members at non-Air/Sea locations • Escalate issues and recommend corrective actions • Create customs entries and enter shipment information for EDI release, rating and billing • Contact clients and carriers to obtain missing documentation, information or instructions • Work with Customs and PGAs as necessary • Conduct tariff, valuation and client/importer information checks • Conduct documented internal audits • Compile and report performance statistics for the Client Service Team • Participate in daily team operations, meetings and special projects • Coordinate and implement electronic data relationships • Keep abreast of new system developments • Perform other related duties and follow established policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of related experience • High School/GED or equivalent • Working towards or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with CSCB or NCBFAA, if not already obtained • Successful completion of the CCS examination is mandatory for further advancement • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Client service-oriented interpersonal skills • Ability to handle large volumes and meet tight deadlines • Strong knowledge of company policies and procedures • Attention to detail, organization, completeness and accuracy • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to make decisions and recommendations within authorized limitations • Excellent time management skills • Ability to present a professional image • Knowledge of Word and Excel • Ability to use a personal computer and common business machines/software
