📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SAS solutions connecting Liviniti systems with vendors, clients, and brokers • Develop custom compliance and regulatory reporting solutions end to end • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot extracts, file transfers, and data exchanges • Integrate trading partners using secure, efficient, and error-free data exchange • Analyze and map data between internal and external systems using SAS programming • Develop SAS file formats and layout specifications, including fixed width, delimited, XML, and proprietary formats • Collaborate with the EDI team and other departments to translate business requirements into technical specifications • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, providing technical analysis and debugging support • Configure FTP, SFTP, AS2, and WebDAV communication protocols • Assist with onboarding new trading partners, including setup, testing, and certification of EDI transactions • Ensure EDI processes comply with security standards, HIPAA, and relevant privacy laws • Identify process-improvement and EDI-workflow optimization opportunities with cross-functional teams • Provide ongoing transaction support and maintenance, ensuring uptime and data accuracy • Maintain documentation of SAS processes, transactions, and solutions for audits and internal review • Report HIPAA violations to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources • Complete required HIPAA training and demonstrate competency

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in coding languages SAS & SQL, particularly in the context of file manipulation, data transformation, data validation, and automation • Knowledge of communication protocols including FTP, SFTP, AS2, and WebDAV • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a remote environment • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAS and SQL development, integration, and maintenance • Knowledge of PBM claims adjudication processes • Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry • Experience in regulatory/compliance reporting to both State and Federal Agencies • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other relevant data privacy standards • Must be available during core hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands
