📋 Description

• Serve emergency responder and fire rescue equipment customers within an assigned territory • Clean, service, and repair breathing apparatus and compressor systems • Service and repair hydraulic extrication equipment • Schedule customer appointments and review customer needs, products, and services • Identify opportunities for successful customer relationships • Plan and conduct face-to-face customer presentations • Design and implement demonstrations or presentations of company products and services • Exchange product and service information with customers • Generate and develop new sales opportunities • Maintain current knowledge of products, procedures, services, and tools • Travel away from home consistently and for extended periods • Represent the company and manufacturers in a neat, orderly, and professional manner • Prepare and submit monthly expense and mileage reports • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Any automotive, electrical and/or mechanical experience encouraged • Must live in or be willing to relocate near Southeastern California and Western Arizona • Proven ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams • Working knowledge of basic electrical theory • Mechanically inclined and technically competent • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and Word • Capable of safely lifting and operating equipment weighing 75 lbs • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience in sales or marketing related field • Special people skills to deal with customers • Strong work ethic • Proven attention to detail • Proven ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written means • Demonstrated good judgment and a high degree of integrity • Must maintain an excellent driving record meeting the insurance provider's requirements • Ability to travel away from home consistently and for extended periods • Ability to work long hours • College degree preferred • Work history and success as a Service Technician preferred
