📋 Description

• Serve Southeastern California and Western Arizona within an assigned territory • Service and maintain emergency responder and fire rescue equipment • Provide fire department customers with high levels of customer care • Clean, service, and repair breathing apparatus and compressor systems • Service and repair hydraulic extrication equipment • Schedule appointments and meet customers to review needs and product and service requirements • Plan and conduct face-to-face customer presentations • Design and implement demonstrations or presentations of company products and services • Exchange information with customers about products and services to assist with their requirements • Generate and develop new opportunities for product and service sales • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, procedures, services, and tools • Travel away from home consistently and for extended periods • Maintain long work hours • Prepare and submit monthly expense and mileage reports and perform other administrative duties • Represent L.N. Curtis & sons and its manufacturers in a neat, orderly, and professional manner • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Any automotive, electrical and/or mechanical experience encouraged • Proven ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams • Working knowledge of basic electrical theory • Mechanically inclined and technically competent • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel and Word • Capable of safely lifting and operating equipment weighing 75lbs • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience in sales or marketing related field • Special people skills to deal with customers • Strong work ethic • Proven attention to detail • Proven ability to communicate effectively via both verbal and written means • Demonstrated good judgement and a high degree of integrity • Must live in or be willing to relocate near Southeastern California and Western Arizona • Must maintain an excellent driving record that meets requirements of the insurance provider • College degree (nice to have) • Work history and success in the realm of Service Technician (nice to have)
