📋 Description

• Maintain and repair light construction equipment, including skid steers, chippers, trenchers, and mini-excavators • Make routine visits to stores to inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance • Document equipment status and complete maintenance and repair work orders • Maintain rental equipment fleets at assigned stores and customer job sites • Inspect equipment for rental readiness, safe operation, and store appearance standards • Perform minor equipment repairs • Respond to service calls and order required parts • Document labor and parts using the company technology platform • Maintain accurate parts and fleet inventories • Transfer equipment between locations • Maintain vehicle, federal, company, and driver compliance standards • Deploy new equipment, perform PDIs, deliver equipment to stores, and train associates • Train store associates and customers in proper equipment operation and safety procedures • Assist with equipment deliveries and pickups • Maintain Mobile Elevated Work Platform certifications • Receive regional direction in planning and aligning short- and long-term goals • Report to the Regional Field Operations Manager • Perform other tasks assigned by the leader

🎯 Requirements

• Must be twenty-one years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Must meet DOT medical certification requirements • Associate's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Minimum 3 years of work experience • Preferred: 1 or more years of experience servicing construction equipment • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Light construction equipment maintenance knowledge and/or skills, including small engines and hydraulics • Ability to read and understand technical repair and parts manuals, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components • Valid driver's license • Familiarity with inventory management • Working knowledge of handheld technology, including smartphone, laptop, and tablet • Ability to operate in extreme outdoor working conditions • Ability to work independently • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Ability to perform significant physical tasks including lifting, prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, and repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements • Occasionally required to work at heights
