📋 Description

• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise data governance processes and frameworks • Define data stewardship roles, responsibilities, and ownership models for critical data domains • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify critical data elements and governance requirements • Assess current-state governance practices, identify gaps, and recommend improvements • Review Enterprise Data Management processes and establish governance standards and operating procedures • Develop and maintain data governance playbooks, policies, and implementation guidance • Create and manage governance roadmaps supporting organizational data strategy objectives • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions related to data stewardship, accountability, and governance adoption • Support metadata management, data ownership alignment, and governance operating model development • Collaborate with data governance, stewardship, and technical teams to drive governance execution and adoption • Provide governance guidance and recommendations as data management capabilities and tooling expand

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Stewardship, or related disciplines • Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks and operating models • Strong understanding of data stewardship, data ownership, metadata management, and data quality concepts • Familiarity with data catalog, metadata management, or governance platforms such as Ataccama • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and building alignment across business and technology teams • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable governance processes • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills • Experience developing governance documentation, playbooks, standards, and operating procedures • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a consulting or client-facing environment • Ability to work across U.S. time zones and travel up to once per quarter based on client and project needs • Consulting and/or Utility industry experience highly preferred • Experience supporting enterprise data management or data governance transformation initiatives • Experience establishing stewardship programs and governance councils • Product Owner, Business Analyst, or governance leadership experience within large enterprise environments
