📋 Description

• Lead operational execution of all broadcast and streaming productions for LOVB • Oversee broadcast operations, engineering, and crewing for live events and original content • Partner with executive producers and production/crewing partners to staff matches • Serve as main point of contact for technical managers across 10 markets and league-run tentpoles • Coordinate travel needs and track crew issues and successes • Evaluate operational solutions for different venues and broadcast/streaming formats • Manage production enhancements such as live player microphones and POV cameras • Ensure reliable end-to-end signal distribution to broadcast and streaming partners • Oversee output routing from broadcast to streaming and social media encoding • Troubleshoot technical issues to avoid disruptions • Manage broadcast production vendors and partners, including evaluation and performance reviews • Implement on-site workflows for replay and score/stats data integration • Escalate vendor issues to executive producers and leadership • Lead RFP processes for future production partners • Own the Live Production Schedule matrix • Create and maintain telecast timelines and workback plans • Communicate on-site schedules from call times through fax windows and on-air timeframes • Coordinate with team event managers and venue operators on broadcast setup schedules • Confirm inputs, approvals, deliverables, and match broadcast schedules • Keep stakeholders aligned on schedule updates • Deliver productions within budget and manage production partner budgets • Build budget tracking templates and review vendor invoices • Survey venues and document broadcast/streaming capabilities • Define physical broadcast space requirements • Confirm venue power, internet, telecommunications, and transmission capabilities • Coordinate logistical requirements including parking, credentials, catering, overnight security, and restrooms • Operationalize workflows for original and non-live match content • Identify clearance needs and partner with legal to secure releases • Evaluate vendor and partner performance and implement process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in production management, with significant experience in live sports production • Demonstrated expertise in broadcast operations, engineering, and crewing for live events • Knowledge of production switcher capabilities and audio consoles • Experience working with venues with varying infrastructure capabilities • Proven ability to create and execute detailed timelines and workback plans • Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills • Experience managing production budgets and vendor relationships • Willingness and ability to travel as required by the event schedule • Proven ability to manage, lead, and inspire full-time and/or freelance operations personnel with clear goal-setting and timeline deliverables • Extensive hands-on experience in live sports production required • Strong track record managing complex production logistics across multiple venues • Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools • Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels • Bachelor's degree in Production, Broadcasting, Media, or related field preferred • Volleyball experience is a plus, but not required
