📋 Description

• Lead the corporate legal function during a period of rapid growth and transformation • Manage board administration and entity and subsidiary governance • Provide legal leadership for equity plan administration • Lead legal due diligence and negotiation for M&A activity • Manage complex commercial and financing transactions • Drive public company readiness initiatives, including securities law and SOX compliance • Oversee employment and litigation matters • Build and lead the corporate legal team • Optimize scalable legal processes • Report to the Chief Legal Officer • Balance legal risk with business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• JD with active bar membership • At least 10 years of relevant experience • Experience at a nationally recognized law firm • Ideally, a mix of late-stage private and public company work • Expertise in securities law, corporate governance, M&A, SEC reporting, and SOX • Experience preparing for or managing public company compliance • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives • Experience in technology or SaaS preferred
