📋 Description
• Serve as a key legal partner to Product and Engineering teams • Advise across the entire product lifecycle, from early design through launch • Identify and address legal risk proactively • Implement privacy-by-design • Provide practical guidance on HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy laws • Lead privacy assessments for new features, including AI-powered features • Draft and maintain user-facing legal documents • Advise on data-sharing and vendor integrations • Partner with Marketing on advertising and consumer protection matters • Build scalable legal resources • Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Operations, and Finance • Escalate issues to senior leadership when appropriate
🎯 Requirements
• JD • Active bar membership • 3–6 years of experience counseling product and engineering teams on privacy and technology matters • Strong foundation in healthcare privacy and data protection • Experience with AI/ML • Experience with intellectual property • Experience with advertising law • Excellent communication skills • Sound judgment in balancing risk and business velocity
