📋 Description

• Provide virtual, one-on-one tutoring in German and Swiss German • Teach an adult student at A1–A2 German level • Emphasize conversational fluency, listening comprehension, and practical communication • Help the student understand Swiss German, particularly as spoken in the Bern region • Conduct lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, one hour per session • Develop curriculum based on the student's goals • Supplement lessons with authentic materials and interactive activities • Participate in an online interview

🎯 Requirements

• German instructor familiar with Swiss German, preferably the Bern region • 2+ years of experience teaching adults • Availability to teach virtual lessons three days per week after 10:00 a.m. US/Eastern Time (4:00 p.m. CEST) • Ability to supplement lessons with authentic materials and interactive activities • Fluency in relevant languages as requested in the application • Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
