📋 Description

• Participate in the 10-week paid summer internship program • Attend development workshops focused on key business concepts • Work on meaningful projects under the mentorship of managers • Perform Model Audit Rule control testing, process narrative tracking and review, and balance sheet review and mapping analysis • Support operational audit planning, controls and substantive testing • Participate in audit entrance and exit meetings • Assist with policy tracking and uploading policies to Logic Gate • Attend Quarterly CPC Meetings when available • Update and generate audit dashboards using Power BI • Assist with creating the External Auditor Status Document • Support key strategic projects with a mentor • Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and qualifications • Perform technical and non-technical business-related projects • Create and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship • Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy • Maintain regular and reliable attendance • Perform other functions as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Business & Management, Computing Sciences & Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or similar degree program • High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program • Must be in good academic standing • Preferred experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Preferred experience using Power BI, ACL, SAS R, Python, or other data analysis and coding tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all company levels • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining attention to detail • Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships • Organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills • Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks • Commitment to continuous improvement • Ability to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment • Ability to work at a workstation using a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time • Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training as needed
