📋 Description

• Process authorizations, enter and audit data, and manage documentation across multiple systems • Support clinical operations through correspondence, including letters and faxes • Maintain timely, compliant records aligned with productivity standards • Answer member benefit, authorization, and referral questions • Verify member information in compliance with HIPAA • Provide empathetic customer service, perform basic screening, and escalate high-risk or crisis situations to clinical staff • Triage cases and route them to appropriate clinical teams • Collect and share discharge details and provider updates to support continuity of care • Coordinate information flow among members, providers, and clinical teams • Work from home using company-provided equipment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related healthcare field plus 1+ year experience in a health care, managed care, behavioral health, and/or customer service setting, OR high school diploma plus 3+ years’ experience in those settings • Strong computer proficiency, including ability to work within multiple systems simultaneously and accurately enter or retrieve data • Ability to talk and type simultaneously while navigating systems during live member interactions • Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment, including criminal, identity, education, employment, healthcare sanctions, prohibited parties, sex offender registry, and 10-panel drug screening checks • Experience in autism services preferred • High-speed internet service with minimum 20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and maximum 100 ms latency, installed before starting • Quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls • Ability to remain stationary and seated for long periods, communicate, inspect information, perform repetitive motions, interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, organize and plan, and maintain a positive professional attitude
