Sprinter Health is a hybrid in-home and virtual primary care provider that expands access to proactive, preventive healthcare by combining community-based, W-2 “Sprinters” (trained phlebotomists with medical assistant and community health worker skills) who perform hands-on diagnostics and wellness checks in patients’ homes with a virtual clinical team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and care navigators. Their full-stack platform and operations close care gaps, deliver preventive screenings and diagnostics, coordinate medications and referrals, and scale longitudinal primary care and wellness visits for payer and provider partners and patients.

📋 Description

• Conduct high-volume outbound patient result calls and post-visit appointment reviews within defined SLAs • Communicate lab results, follow-up instructions, and next steps accurately and on time • Provide clinical and administrative support before, during, and after patient visits • Validate labs, confirm documentation, and ensure visits are ready for in-home care delivery • Upload and manage clinical documents accurately and promptly • Monitor and track lab results and imaging reports through Quest and other clinical applications • Escalate clinical concerns or documentation gaps as needed • Liaise with patients, providers, and internal clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care • Maintain and update the provider directory, including fax numbers where applicable • Partner with health system and health plan counterparts to obtain missing appointment information and share updates • Oversee medical record management and maintain HIPAA compliance • Monitor workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support process improvements • Adapt to updated SOPs, tools, and priorities as the organization scales

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical healthcare environment • Working knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy standards, and common medical terminology • Experience communicating with doctors’ offices, hospitals, labs, and clinics via phone and email • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software • Highly fluent in Mac OS, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk • Experience handling high-volume outbound patient calls, including result delivery and post-visit follow-up, while meeting defined SLAs or productivity targets • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail when handling PHI and clinical documentation • Strong written communication skills for clear and accurate documentation • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated with strong follow-through, accountability, and ownership of work • Commitment to patient confidentiality and high-quality, patient-centered care • Preferred: Experience working in an EMR; Elation experience is a plus • Preferred: Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems • Preferred: Experience in results delivery with exposure to clinical workflows and documentation requirements • Preferred: Experience in a fast-paced startup, on-demand service, or rapidly scaling healthcare environment
