📋 Description

• Provide supervised medical services for patients, emphasizing acute/same-day care • Collaborate with contracted physicians • Provide patient education and counseling appropriate to medical needs • Communicate treatment and therapy progress to individuals responsible for or controlling patient-care interventions • Refer patients to appropriate licensed physicians or other healthcare providers as circumstances warrant • Perform duties according to established procedures and policies of Maryland authorities and healthcare organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or licensed Physician Assistant • Current Board Certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant • Maintains current licensure and continuing medical education credits as required by Maryland State Law • Ability to work under the rules, regulations, and policies established by the State of Maryland, BPQA, HCFA, AMA, and AAHS • Ability to perform duties in an environment with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens
