📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for women across various life stages • Provide ongoing medication management, including initiation, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications • Offer psychotherapy and counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities • Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and develop personalized treatment plans • Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards • Facilitate referrals to other mental health services and resources as necessary • Participate in regular case consultations and supervision meetings • Manage an autonomous caseload of patients using evidence-based approaches across reproductive and postpartum stages

🎯 Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license with a specialty in Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC), in good standing • Licensed to practice in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, VA, DC, and MD • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and therapy, with a focus on women’s mental health • Proficiency in medication management, with an emphasis on psychopharmacology for women • Experience providing psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, IPT, or other evidence-based modalities) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote care team • Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in caring for a diverse patient population • Maintain participation with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans as required by LunaJoy • Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
