📋 Description

• Provide oversight and collaborate on prescribing controlled substances • Review 10% of patient charts as mandated by Georgia PMHNP regulations • Provide consultation and guidance on complex or challenging cases • Ensure ongoing compliance with Georgia state laws and DEA requirements • Maintain open and professional communication, including periodic check-ins and availability for guidance • Support a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in meeting state and DEA licensing requirements • Support psychiatric and family practice services

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Georgia medical license / Active Medical License in Georgia (Required) • Willingness to sign a collaborative agreement / Collaborative Practice Agreement following Georgia law • No active board sanctions • Clean professional record (no violations or disciplinary history) • Responsive to occasional chart reviews as required by law • Experience in psychiatric care, ideally in a collaborative setting • Ability to review charts and advise on treatment plans • Willingness to submit to a background check, if needed • Malpractice insurance or willingness to obtain coverage • Commitment of at least 6 months • Regular check-ins of at least 30 minutes, twice weekly • 30-day notice required for termination by either party • Updated resume/CV • Proof of active Georgia medical license • Any relevant certifications or qualifications
