📋 Description

• Lead the organization in envisioning, developing, and implementing innovative approaches to solving problems and transforming healthcare systems • Utilize industrial and systems engineering, financial analysis, statistics, project management, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies • Apply continuous improvement principles and tools to reduce waste, improve cycle times, reduce rework, and improve patient experience • Serve as project manager and technical guide for cost savings and process improvement efforts • Provide advanced statistical and financial analytical support to senior management and project teams • Develop, recommend, and implement analytical solutions supporting organizational decision-making • Champion department core services, including labor productivity, external benchmarking, and labor ratio targets • Assess current-state processes, evaluate relevant data, identify opportunities, eliminate waste, and develop action plans • Lead department-level improvement initiatives and network projects • Work directly with senior leadership to achieve network goals and strategic objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field • 5 years related experience in improving operations, conducting complex analytical studies, and project management • Expert ability to use continuous improvement tools, including process mapping, process observation, root cause analysis (FMEA), value stream mapping, Pareto and statistical charts, and 5 Whys • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Visio • Exposure to at least one computer simulation software: SIMUL8, Arena, FlexSim, or Promodel • Exposure to at least one statistical analysis software: Minitab or SAS • Ability to identify key business issues and develop analyses and action plans for improving operational efficiency • Exposure to the basics of financial analytics and ability to calculate cost savings • Proficiency in project management principles • Master’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Information & Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or related field preferred • ICGB Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred/upon hire • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. • Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
