📋 Description

• Develop and evolve benefits strategy supporting talent attraction, retention, and total rewards • Conduct benchmarking and market analysis for plan design, funding, and policy decisions • Partner with brokers and Communications on benefits branding and materials • Build and manage strategic relationships with benefits vendors and stakeholders • Monitor vendor performance and service-level compliance • Lead vendor RFPs, selection, and contract negotiations • Coordinate retirement plan governance meetings, agendas, records, and minutes • Monitor regulations and advise leadership on compliance risks and mitigation • Translate benefits data and process performance into leadership recommendations • Manage and coach the benefits administrator and part-time benefits coordinator • Serve as escalation point for complex eligibility, claims, and vendor issues • Maintain documentation and process guides • Support HRIS and benefits-platform automation initiatives • Evaluate automation tools, workflows, and system enhancements • Direct project management and communications for Open Enrollment, flu shot clinics, and regulatory updates • Plan targeted wellness events and ensure responsive, knowledgeable, and empathetic support

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in benefits management, spanning benefits strategy/plan design and hands-on program administration • Experience in benefits or a related field at a mid- to large-size employer • Ability to develop benefits strategy, including market benchmarking and plan design • Working knowledge of benefits compliance and regulatory requirements • Understanding of benefits administration systems, file feeds, and integration technologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Bachelor's degree required • CEBS, CBP, and SHRM designations are a plus • Prior benefits brokerage experience is a plus
