📋 Description

• Lead the Fraud Intelligence and Global Trust Advocacy teams • Manage the Fraud Intelligence manager and three regional Global Trust Advocacy leads across APAC, EMEA, and LATAM • Set the strategy and operating rhythm for the Intelligence & Advocacy team • Represent Intelligence & Advocacy on the FSI leadership team and report to the Director of Fraud and Safety Investigations • Build strategic relationships with regional GMs, Country Managers, and local leadership • Direct proactive identification, analysis, and disruption of novel fraud threats • Oversee anomaly detection, fraud network analysis, threat actor analysis, real-time mitigations, and leadership reporting • Partner with Trust Engineering, Data Science, and Product on automated detection rules, platform defenses, and policy changes • Own regional compliance and advocacy across local legal, regulatory, and cultural contexts • Ensure global playbooks, product launches, and policies translate appropriately to local markets • Lead stakeholder engagement with Country Managers, regional business leads, Legal, Public Policy, and Supply teams • Translate regional risk signals into intelligence briefs for planning, product roadmaps, and prioritization • Communicate fraud intelligence and regional compliance considerations to executive and senior leadership audiences

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in trust and safety, fraud intelligence, risk operations, or a related field • 5+ years managing teams, including experience managing managers • Demonstrated experience in fraud intelligence, risk strategy, or threat analysis • Deep understanding of regional and international trust and safety dynamics • Experience navigating local legal requirements, regulatory landscapes, and cultural nuances across multiple markets • Strong cross-functional influence skills • Analytical depth, including interpreting large volumes of data and ambiguous signals • Clear, direct communication and ability to present regional risk assessments to executive audiences • Experience operating in a global, distributed team environment • Familiarity with fraud detection tooling, rules engines, or intelligence platforms is a strong plus • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
