📋 Description

• Manage and supervise Personal Financial Counselors (PFCs) • Provide weekly supervision on financial management services and administrative issues • Maintain consistency in service delivery and ensure compliance with Department of Defense expectations • Interface with installation Points of Contact (POCs) • Review contract deliverables and reports for accuracy and compliance • Conduct regular PFC check-ins and develop narrative summaries for client-ready submissions to OSD FINRED • Monitor implementation of PFC and company policies and procedures • Use quality improvement processes to assess policy and procedure changes • Review and supervise duty-to-warn and restricted-reporting processes • Participate in the Quality Assurance and Improvement Committee and provide field-operations feedback • Monitor PFC interactions with service members, family members, POCs, teammates, and community resource representatives • Manage counseling services for permanent rotations, on-demand assignments, and surge events • Oversee counseling to ensure needs assessment, action plans, coaching, and resource utilization • Direct financial management services, financial counseling, educational workshops, and consultations with base and installation command • Direct timely collection of counselor activity data for internal and external reporting • Direct PFC consultations with POCs and base and installation command • Coordinate with POCs to ensure program services meet installation needs and provide feedback to the PMO • Screen for and assist with reporting conflicts of interest • Coordinate compliance with congressionally mandated disclosures and the Magellan COI process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; a combination of education and work experience may be considered • 5+ years of financial counseling post-certification • 2+ years of documentation, oversight, management, and supervisory experience • Current counseling competence and certification • Must be a U.S. citizen • Fluent English required • Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 Clearance • Must be able to pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process • Must hold one active certification: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Experience in document management, financial counseling, management/leadership, and supervision
