📋 Description

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families • Provide coverage in short-term, surge, and on-demand situations resulting from military needs • Deliver one-on-one counseling and consultations with commanders, providers, and staff • Conduct briefings, presentations, classes, and workshops on personal financial management • Provide referral resources outside counseling sessions • Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure the program meets installation needs • Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences • Develop and distribute informational financial materials • Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes and seminars • Provide virtual counseling through web-based, secure online chat, video communication, and secure video teleconference when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share information regarding trends and issues at assigned installations • Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, or associate degree plus 4 years' experience, or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must speak fluent English • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract • Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process • Must hold one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
