📋 Description

• Respond to customer support requests through incident tickets, phone calls, and email • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and maintain quality customer service • Document resolutions and build knowledge base articles • Proactively address incidents to decrease recurring issues and troubleshoot advanced problems • Maintain a high-level overview of client environments • Participate in continued certification training • Participate in internal projects and designs • Maintain relevant certifications for vendor partnership levels • Participate in an on-call rotation • Track time, activity, and communication through Magna5’s applications • Work primarily Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST, with occasional after-hours incident troubleshooting or project work

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience administering/supporting networking technologies • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or relevant work experience • Ability to work in a team environment and support multiple customer issues while prioritizing workload by severity • Strong curiosity and enjoyment of learning new technology • Strong work ethic and desire to set an example for others • MSP or professional service experience is a bonus • Experience designing and implementing network topology • Strong fundamental knowledge and experience with switches and routers • Understanding of firewall functions such as NAT/PAT and VPN • Experience with EIGRP/OSPF/BGP and MPLS/VPLS • Understanding and working knowledge of Radius/LDAP/802.1x, Spanning-Tree, and Port-Channels • Experience with high availability concepts including HSRP/VRRP, A/A, and A/P • Understanding of SD-WAN, QoS, and Traffic Shaping • Ability to design detailed network drawings • Relevant networking certification or willingness to obtain a credential is strongly preferred, including CCNA, NSE4, PCNSA, or Azure/AWS networking certifications • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation • Willingness to certify and maintain relevant vendor certifications
