S. states to help clients operate more safely, efficiently, and in regulatory compliance.

📋 Description

• Lead or assist with day-to-day technical coordination for GIS projects • Conduct technical workshops covering data modeling and migration/conversion • Meet with client management and technical teams • Assist with creating and delivering client presentations • Document technical practices required for project needs • Oversee GIS project teams for one or multiple projects • Manage and maintain project status and progress • Communicate issues to project and technical management teams • Perform quality control for GIS project data • Review project proposals and technical documents • Interface with clients regarding technical project requirements • Provide and develop technical procedures for project execution • Participate in industry committees • Lead, design, develop, and deploy business intelligence initiatives using Power Query, Tableau, Python, and Power BI • Serve as primary technical lead for schedule, scope, and budget development for project bids and RFP responses • Train GIS production staff on technical requirements • Perform higher-level GIS tasks for pipeline GIS projects • Complete other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be located within the United States • Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems (GIS), Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent relevant technical experience • 4-6 years of ArcGIS/GIS experience with emphasis in geoprocessing tasks • Experience with Python and SQL • Extensive ESRI-suite knowledge • ArcPro 3.1 or higher • Advanced geoprocessing, ModelBuilder/ArcToolbox • ArcSDE • In-depth knowledge of pipeline GIS practices, including Linear Referencing (Esri APR toolset) • FME • Data modeling best practices • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products • Understanding of PODS and UPDM data models • Understanding of the utility sector and midstream sector • Ability to lead others in varied and complex tasks • Ability to plan and manage work efficiently and work well under stress and time pressures • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills • Ability to design and perform tasks required for pipeline GIS projects • Ability to communicate and train GIS staff on technical requirements • Technical writing and technical report development • Familiarity with database dictionaries, logical diagrams, business processes, and proposal documents • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Must be mobile and able to work in various locations in the United States
