📋 Description

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, spend management systems, daily treasury functions, month-end close support, and general ledger data integrity • Own the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor invoices, coding, approvals, payment runs, and vendor terms • Own the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, collections, past-due follow-up, and cash receipts • Maintain AP/AR aging schedules, flag risks, resolve discrepancies, and track KPIs such as DPO, DSO, and aging trends • Manage vendor onboarding, W-9/W-8 collection, and vendor records • Serve as the primary contact for AP/AR questions • Monitor daily cash positions and execute wire transfers, ACH payments, and other cash movements • Manage banking relationships and online banking access, permissions, and alerts • Support short-term cash flow forecasting and flag liquidity needs to the Controller • Reconcile treasury, bank, and credit card accounts and resolve discrepancies • Administer accounting, AP/AR, treasury, and banking platforms; manage configurations, access, integrations, updates, audits, and troubleshooting • Evaluate and help implement financial systems and automation; build documentation and SOPs • Prepare journal entries, support the monthly close checklist, and maintain balance sheet supporting schedules • Assist with monthly financial reports, management summaries, budget-to-actual tracking, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial requests • Support payroll processing and employee expense reports, reimbursements, and expense-policy compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related finance role, with meaningful hands-on AP/AR experience • Exposure to treasury or cash management tasks; direct treasury experience is a strong plus, not a requirement • Experience administering or power-using financial systems such as an ERP, AP/AR platform, or banking portal • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and comfort working across multiple financial systems • Strong attention to detail and follow-through on recurring, deadline-driven, controls-sensitive work • Clear communication with vendors, customers, banks, and internal teams • Systems/process mindset focused on improving financial operations • Interest in growing beyond AP/AR into broader accounting, treasury, and finance operations • No certification required • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred but not mandatory • Experience at a startup or fast-growing company is nice to have • Prior exposure to treasury management systems or online banking platforms is nice to have • Prior experience owning/administering a financial system beyond AP/AR is nice to have • Familiarity with payroll systems and expense management tools is nice to have • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship requirement must be disclosed
