📋 Description

• Be the Head of Privacy and Lead Privacy Lawyer for Mapbox • Advise internal clients and work with customers on privacy issues • Review new products and features for compliance with data protection laws • Review and edit DPAs and data privacy provisions in agreements • Ensure privacy-by-design is embedded into Mapbox products/services • Improve compliance programs for privacy and data security • Conduct general and role-specific privacy training • Advise on sub processors' activities • Stay informed about regulatory developments • Develop customer collateral to assess privacy impact

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of practicing attorney experience • 2+ years at a top-tier law firm • 5+ years in-house at a technology company in privacy • JD degree from top-tier law school • Active membership in at least one US state bar • Computer engineering or computer science degree preferred • Extensive experience working with APIs and SDKs • Excellent communication skills • Practical and customer-centric orientation
