📋 Description

• Strategically influence diet recommendations through expert training, education, partnership, and ongoing support • Collaborate with internal Royal Canin stakeholders to achieve annual Therapeutic Business Unit objectives • Partner with field sales teams to educate key recommenders and drive recommendations, market share, and sales growth • Cultivate relationships with specialty referral hospitals to expand nutrition category sales within surrounding general practices • Build relationships with regional medical leadership and participate in high-impact strategic-account events • Establish and nurture a network of Key Opinion Leader Royal Canin advocates and potential speakers • Support veterinary operations, marketing, corporate communications, and scientific communications initiatives • Provide Royal Canin nutrition education to veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff • Contribute to veterinary business growth through collaboration and joint business planning with sales teams • Serve as a trusted technical resource and provide expert support and guidance • Represent Royal Canin at veterinary conferences and events • Provide expert nutritional case consultations • Adapt territory and regional coverage as needed • Travel 3–4 days per week, including local and air travel, with one day for remote home-office work • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or VMD) with an active license in at least one state • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary practitioner, including internships, co-ops, and/or residency • Preference for small or companion animal practice experience • Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Willingness and ability to travel extensively—up to 75% within the assigned territory • Ability to travel by airline, train, or other transportation modes • Flexibility to travel during nights and weekends • Ability to independently manage travel arrangements • Must be willing and able to travel to fulfill the roles and responsibilities • Ability to work from home effectively when not traveling • Mars does not sponsor visas for this role • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits
