• Influence diet recommendations through expert training, education, partnership, and ongoing support • Collaborate with internal Royal Canin stakeholders on activities and initiatives for the Therapeutic Business Unit • Engage Key Opinion Leaders and veterinary professionals to enhance Royal Canin’s reputation • Increase brand recommendations and expand the path of influence • Grow Royal Canin’s market share within veterinary hospitals • Partner with field sales teams to educate key recommenders and drive recommendations, market share, and sales growth • Cultivate relationships with specialty referral hospitals to expand nutrition category sales • Strengthen strategic accounts through regional medical leadership relationships and high-impact events • Establish and nurture a network of KOL Royal Canin advocates and potential speakers • Provide Royal Canin nutrition education to veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff • Contribute to veterinary business growth through collaboration and joint business planning • Serve as a trusted technical resource • Represent Royal Canin at veterinary conferences and events • Provide nutritional case consultations • Adapt territory and regional coverage requirements as needed • Support field-based teams through local and air travel • Perform other responsibilities as assigned • Anticipate traveling 3–4 days per week, with one day for remote home-office work
• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or VMD) with an active license in at least one state • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary practitioner, including internships, co-ops, and/or residency • Preference for small or companion animal practice • Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Willingness and ability to travel extensively—up to 75% within the assigned territory • Eligibility for a company vehicle • Flexibility to travel during nights and weekends • Capability to independently manage travel arrangements • Must be willing and able to travel to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the position • Ability to travel 50–75%, including nights and weekends • Must be able to work effectively from home when not traveling • Mars does not sponsor visas for this role • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits
