📋 Description

• Conduct technical training sessions at customer regional and national sales meetings and trade shows • Attend ride-alongs with customer commercial sales managers to promote and educate customers on brake pads • Present technical information on brake pads to technical and non-technical audiences of 20–100 people • Educate participants and answer questions about brake friction material, customer brake pad line differentiation, manufacturing, quality, and testing • Troubleshoot customer issues relating to brake pad fit and/or function during customer visits • Become familiar with customer commercial sales programs and promotions • Build ongoing relationships with customers • Coordinate training sessions and schedules with the customer training manager • Attend yearly internal company training with corporate, R&D, and company factories • Issue timely weekly reports on customer visits • Participate in weekly team conference calls • Responsible for the Gulf Coast Territory, including Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Tennessee

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years on-the-job experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Automotive technical experience in brake systems / repair • State or ASE/Master Certifications a plus • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of OE or aftermarket brake systems and components • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnosis • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills • Ability to negotiate and make sound decisions in a timely and confident manner • Ability to influence and shape the decisions of others and work through issues or conflicts • Highly organized, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to interface with clients and maintain a professional image • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality • Instructional training experience—classroom or on-the-job preferred • Bilingual Spanish is a plus • Extensive travel, up to 75%, to various locations across the US
