• Complete and track new and renewing pharmacy agreements, credentialing forms, surveys, pharmacy requests, and inquiries • Coordinate with management and stakeholders on new payor contracts, negotiations, and rate validation • Maintain departmental databases and demographic information for pharmacies and contracts • Follow up on pending tasks and provide status updates • Submit and record contractual agreements and documents according to departmental policies • Communicate with external and internal departments • Assist with developing, maintaining, and enforcing departmental policies and procedures • Perform problem solving, auditing, reporting, and process recommendations for departmental outcomes • Establish and maintain work relationships with external and interdepartmental staff
• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Experience in PBM pharmacy contracting required • Basic knowledge of contracts, third party insurance, and claims processing preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF Software, and other management tools • Strong problem-solving skills • Strong project management and multitasking skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong writing skills and attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Firm understanding of pharmacy contracting processes • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to follow direction with minimal ongoing support and apply knowledge to new situations • Willingness to work outside the box and remain open to change
