📋 Description

• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP • Compile, analyze, and validate financial data for the accounting close process • Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting • Record, validate, and maintain general ledger transactions • Monitor transaction activity, validate system interfaces, and resolve discrepancies • Process and support billing, collections, account reclassifications, and other accounting transactions • Prepare and maintain documentation for accounting transactions, processes, and procedures • Identify and implement accounting process and system improvements • Assist with internal and external audits, including schedules, reconciliations, analyses, documentation, and auditor inquiries • Assist with J-SOX testing, documentation, and compliance activities • Prepare financial information, reports, and analyses • Support ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects • Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Finance, and other cross-functional teams • Participate in cross-training and maintain professional and technical knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounting experience required • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting practices, and financial reporting requirements required • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting tools required • Effective verbal and written communication skills required • Ability to document processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous process enhancements required • Ability to prioritize responsibilities, organize workload, and meet deadlines required • Ability to prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial data accurately with attention to detail required • Bachelor of Science in Accounting preferred • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management preferred • Bachelor of Science in Economics preferred • An equivalent mix of education, training, and/or work experience may be considered in place of a degree • Knowledge of accounting systems; SAP experience preferred • Ability to travel domestically by air 10%
