📋 Description

• Evaluate intake information for accuracy and adequacy before opening matters in Aderant Professional • Follow up with attorneys and administrative staff for additional information or clarification • Enter accurate information and apply accurate rate sets in Aderant according to firm protocols • Conduct timely and accurate conflict searches • Open matters upon submission of appropriate information to the Business Intake Group • Address requests received through the New File Requests and Aderant File Maintenance Outlook groups • Maintain and update information in Aderant • Assist with intake during onboarding of new attorneys or transfer of new business • Receive cross-training and assist other departments as needed • Assist with special projects and assignments • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, or as-needed reports • Respond politely to internal staff, clients, and vendors • Work as a member of a team • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field • 2–5 years of related work experience required • Experience in an administrative role in an insurance claims department or a similar conflicts-check and new-file/client role at a large, multi-office law firm • Aderant experience is a plus • Excellent listening, verbal communication, and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail • Ability to read and write in English • Accurate arithmetic skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel • Ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
