📋 Description

• Managing all administrative tasks associated with the legal process of NY, NJ and PA foreclosures, focusing on NY. • Drafting, responding to correspondence and updating client systems. • Consistently and accurately updating the firm’s internal case management system, as well as all clients’ systems. • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction. • Drafting and proofreading legal documents as required. • Providing support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere. • Providing regular and timely client status updates, as well as continual follow-up on outstanding documents and or services. • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings, in compliance with court rules and deadlines. • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation. • Manage and organize case files, including electronic and physical documents. • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally and effectively. • Coordinate and schedule court appearances, motion hearing dates, and other legal proceedings. • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed. • Work on loss mitigation efforts and coordinating with both our client and all parties.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma; preferably an associate degree in legal services or Finance. • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience. • Experience with New York or judicial foreclosure law preferred. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service. • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrower, clients, attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties. • Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner. • Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change. • Ability to read and write at a high level for proof reading and editing purposes. • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite. • Proficiency in internet research activities. • Familiarity with case and document management software. • Experience with client systems such as Loansphere, Lenstar, Clairfire, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred. • Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure is preferred. • Experience with drafting legal documents and pleadings, such as motions, letters and notices. • Ability to proficiently operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone is required.
