📋 Description

• Provide legal support as needed by the General Counsel • Draft, review, and revise contracts and advise on contracts and transactional agreements • Handle procurement and services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other business documents • Provide accurate and timely counsel to internal business units and executives on varied legal topics • Conduct legal research across a wide range of topics • Monitor applicable state and federal laws, decisional laws from other jurisdictions, and industry publications • Communicate policies and procedures clearly to staff • Maintain high standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct while supporting company goals

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. or S.J.D. • Juris Doctorate and membership in at least one U.S. State bar is required • At least 2 full years of experience practicing law • Experience encompassing most of the stated legal areas, including mergers/acquisitions, contracting and negotiations, consumer law, IP law, telecommunications law, insurance, and regulatory adherence including U.S. and foreign data privacy laws • Strong oral and written presentation skills • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, follow through, and meet deadlines • Proficient legal research and drafting skills • Proficiency with Westlaw and PACER • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Clear, concise, and practical oral and written communication skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-pressure environment • Reliable, ethical, and trustworthy • Must complete a full application, screening questions, and brief pre-employment test • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based • Must be willing to submit to a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprint • Must be willing to submit to drug screening • Preferred: familiarity with communications and privacy laws • Preferred: large firm or in-house experience • Preferred: AV peer review rating • Preferred: licensed in NY, Washington, D.C., or California
