📋 Description

• Support Twilio’s Go-to-Market Sales team as part of the commercial legal team • Partner with the enterprise sales team on the full life-cycle negotiation of complex enterprise sales deals • Review, negotiate, draft, and manage a wide range of legal agreements • Advise internal clients on contract interpretation and negotiation • Ensure compliance policies are practiced and protect Twilio from risk • Ensure compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, and Twilio’s values • Understand customer positions and internal client requests • Solve problems and address issues from customer and internal-client perspectives • Prioritize matters requiring attention • Travel occasionally for project or team in-person meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated record of success as a lawyer • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state or province in which the position is located • 5+ years of commercial transactions experience, including at least 3 years negotiating complex technology transactions such as SaaS • Experience supporting a large sales organization • Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements • Proven ability to provide entrepreneurial, quick-thinking, pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice • Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to triage a heavy workflow and deliver results efficiently • Fluency in Spanish required • Role is not eligible to be hired in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington
