📋 Description

• Lead Medsien’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes • Build and maintain financial models supporting short-term execution and long-term strategic planning • Develop revenue, expense, headcount, cash-flow, and profitability forecasts • Analyze company performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying drivers, risks, and opportunities • Create financial reports, KPI dashboards, and executive-level insights for company leaders • Partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Patient Growth, and other teams on departmental plans and financial accountability • Evaluate pricing, customer profitability, unit economics, margins, investments, hiring plans, and resource allocation • Build models for new products, programs, partnerships, and strategic initiatives • Support cash management, runway planning, scenario analysis, and capital-planning decisions • Partner with internal and external accounting resources to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Improve the reliability, consistency, and automation of financial data, reporting, and forecasting processes • Establish scalable financial planning processes and operating rhythms as Medsien grows • Support board, investor, lender, financing, and due diligence materials as needed • Serve as a strategic finance partner to leadership by turning financial and operational data into recommendations and decisions • Report directly to the COO

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, financial planning, or a related finance role • Strong experience building and maintaining financial models, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and long-range plans • Demonstrated ability to analyze business performance, identify meaningful trends, and translate financial data into actionable recommendations • Experience developing management reporting, KPI dashboards, budget-to-actual analyses, and executive-level financial presentations • Strong understanding of financial statements, accrual accounting, revenue, expenses, cash flow, and the relationship between operational and financial performance • Experience partnering with business leaders to evaluate investments, headcount, pricing, resource allocation, and other strategic decisions • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to build reliable and scalable financial models • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to independently manage recurring planning and reporting processes • Strong executive communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-finance leaders • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-growing organization while building more scalable financial processes and reporting systems • Nice-to-have: experience at a high-growth, venture-backed, SaaS, technology-enabled services, or healthcare technology company • Nice-to-have: understanding of healthcare economics, medical billing, claims, reimbursements, or revenue-cycle operations • Nice-to-have: experience supporting recurring, usage-based, per-member, or service-based revenue • Nice-to-have: experience analyzing unit economics, customer profitability, gross margins, pricing, and contribution margins • Nice-to-have: experience with workforce planning, capacity modeling, sales commissions, and departmental budgeting • Nice-to-have: experience preparing reporting and financial materials for executives, boards, investors, or lenders • Nice-to-have: experience supporting fundraising, financing, due diligence, or strategic transactions • Nice-to-have: familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Ramp, Bill.com, or similar platforms • Nice-to-have: experience improving financial data quality, reporting automation, and cross-functional planning processes • Nice-to-have: CPA, CFA, CMA, MBA, or another relevant finance credential
