• Lead regional customer and employee education and training activities supporting Cardiac Rhythm Management procedures, products, and launches • Partner with leadership, field, and cross-functional personnel to identify opportunities and barriers to district and regional performance • Provide product-performance feedback to product development, quality, education, and marketing teams • Serve as the customer and field technical resource for Cardiac Rhythm Management • Provide expertise in physician, fellows, advanced healthcare professional, clinical evidence, and employee education • Provide implant or clinic coverage based on regional needs • Train internal teams and external customers on CRM procedures, therapies, products, processes, and solutions • Assess and provide continued education for tenured field teams • Coordinate new-hire training and complete new-hire field sign-off • Disseminate competitive technology and therapy information to regional teams • Deliver competitive training to field service and sales staff • Deliver tailored training on Medtronic and competitive products, clinical evidence, and marketplace changes • Deliver new-product and procedural field training • Build stakeholder relationships through strategic education focused on clinical value • Translate complex technical messaging, address competitive claims, and resolve complex technical issues • Communicate product and procedure updates and field corrective actions • Collaborate with the Clinical Research Organization on clinical studies and physician research • Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute strategic technical and clinical training aligned with business goals • Respond to urgent or rapidly changing business needs and implement strategic solutions with sales teams • Build collaborative relationships across Medtronic • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key regional customers • Provide expert service at key accounts to reinforce Medtronic technical competency • Reside within the territory and drive to multiple customer accounts throughout the region
• Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or sales/service/engineering in the Cardiac Rhythm or an Implantable Medical Device Industry, or an Advanced Degree in engineering or nursing • Degree in biomedical engineering or nursing preferred • Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic, or cardiology experience preferred • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel preferred • Thorough working knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and the medical device industry preferred • Excellent customer service skills preferred • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across organization levels preferred • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills preferred • Ability to coordinate and participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines preferred • Strong work ethic preferred • Expertise with Microsoft tools and other business applications, including SalesForce.com, preferred • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements preferred • IBHRE certification required at Senior and Principal levels • Valid driver’s license • Ability to meet U.S. work authorization requirements; unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at hire and throughout employment for roles below Principal level • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • Frequent travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings • Ability to be independently mobile • Ability to handle equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to eight-plus hours per day • Ability to wear a 5–7 pound lead apron for extended periods • Ability to manipulate objects, tools, and controls • Ability to bend, stoop, or balance • Required close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
