📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical representative for EP Technologies Affera customers and sales and clinical teams • Perform technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, maintenance and de-installation of Affera systems at customer sites • Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance • Maintain and submit technical records and documentation according to regulatory requirements • Provide field experience and database updates to office colleagues • Improve service processes and develop and maintain service documentation and procedures • Provide input to Engineering and Manufacturing for Affera product upgrades • Develop and deliver technical training to distributors, partners, agents and technically qualified customer representatives • Participate in design improvement discussions and new product introductions • Investigate, analyze and recognize trends in technical data related to Affera products • Participate in special projects requested by the U.S. Field Service Manager or designee • Provide technical training to physicians, EP technicians and department managers at customer sites • Provide technical assistance to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures • Travel over 75%, including overnight and air travel

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 4 years of technical, clinical field service, technical internship or clinical customer support experience • Ability to apply electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic and biomedical engineering principles to troubleshooting • Ability to troubleshoot and technically diagnose medical equipment • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills • Excellent time management and detail orientation • Flexibility to travel frequently, including possible international travel • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and work without direct supervision • Extensive direct, face-to-face customer contact and interaction • Ability to work closely with customers, listen to issues and develop plans to increase confidence and satisfaction • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
