📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical representative for Medtronic EP Technologies Affera customers and sales and clinical teams • Perform technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, maintenance, and de-installation of Affera systems at customer sites • Provide technical assistance to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures • Coordinate field feedback with Marketing, Quality, Production, and Engineering groups • Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance • Maintain and submit technical records and documentation according to regulatory requirements • Provide field information to office colleagues and update the database • Improve service processes and develop and maintain service documentation and procedures • Provide input to Engineering and Manufacturing for product upgrades • Participate in technical training for distributors, partners, agents, customer representatives, physicians, EP technicians, and department managers • Support the introduction of new products and participate in design improvement discussions • Investigate, analyze, and recognize trends in technical data related to Affera products • Participate in special projects requested by the US Field Service Manager or designee

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 4 years of technical, clinical field service, technical internship, or clinical customer support experience • Ability to apply electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical engineering principles to troubleshooting • Ability to troubleshoot and technically diagnose medical equipment • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail • Flexibility to travel frequently, including possible international locations • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and without direct supervision • Extensive direct, face-to-face customer contact and interaction • Ability to work closely with customers, listen to issues, and develop plans to increase confidence and satisfaction with Affera products and services • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
