📋 Description

• Install new coordinate measuring machines onsite • Retrofit, calibrate, and certify existing coordinate measuring machine installations with new Renishaw technology • Support installation and integration of new products onto existing coordinate measuring machines onsite and offsite • Provide technical and commercial support for the CGPD product line to the direct sales force and distributors • Investigate and resolve product issues for internal and external sales • Train end users, integrators, and staff on CGPD products • Create and maintain technical support documentation for troubleshooting • Assist with trade shows, exhibitions, and open houses • Travel domestically, typically exceeding 75%, with some international travel • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, equivalent discipline, or equivalent experience • Ability to understand and comprehend engineering principles • Understanding of electronic and mechanical principles • Strong troubleshooting skills • Information technology aptitude • Computer competency • Strong mathematical skills, including trigonometry • Eligibility to use and access ITAR-controlled data, complying with U.S. export control laws • Preferred experience in manufacturing, quality control, metrology, or CMM operations • Preferred knowledge of Renishaw’s CMM and Gauging products • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) • Experience with CAD/CAM in a manufacturing or quality control environment • Previous internship involving the manufacturing of parts • Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot technical mechanical and electrical systems • Manual dexterity and physical ability to install products in a normal production environment • Competence with Windows-based computer systems • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Good time management and commitment to completing assigned work • Interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and conflict-management skills
