• Provide day-to-day field clinical study support, technical and education support, and site management for Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies clinical programs • Promote clinical programs through investigator education, new technology education, and case support • Conduct on-site education and/or consulting • Support field personnel in achieving customer outcomes and service goals • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute enrollment plans • Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness • Provide customer case and education support with Therapy Development Management • Identify and facilitate growth opportunities with the Clinical Support Team • Serve as a technical resource for medical products and solutions • Assist in clinical study procedures, including Intrepid TMVR/TTVR device preparation and case support • Provide technical support, device troubleshooting, and guidance on device suitability and patient selection • Support imaging needs involving echo, angiography, and CT • Provide clinical-site feedback for engineering designs, product enhancements, and research and development • Develop and maintain customer relationships and enrollment support with assigned sites • Establish and maintain relationships with investigators, research coordinators, OR/Cath Lab staff, nursing units, decision makers, and administrators • Coordinate patient screening and enrollment communications and required materials • Coordinate product shipping and returns according to Medtronic policy • Assist in developing and delivering physician training materials, simulations, benchtop models, didactic sessions, and case studies • Train customer-site physicians and hospital personnel on Medtronic products through sessions, in-services, seminars, and symposiums • Educate, mentor, and train internal Medtronic employees
• High school diploma/degree with a minimum of 8 years of clinical support, or Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years, or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years, or Advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years • Ability to travel approximately 75%, including international travel and overnight stays • 3+ years Structural Heart industry field experience preferred • Experience with echocardiographic imaging of the mitral and/or tricuspid valve preferred • Experience using CT segmentation and analysis software such as 3Mensio preferred • Experience with trans-septal procedures including TMVR or LAAC preferred • Clinical Research experience, including coordinating multi-center trials, preferred • Experience presenting, writing, and teaching clinical and medical information preferred • Experience with group presentations and interventional/surgical cardiac procedures preferred • Experience with Good Clinical Practice and/or regulatory compliance guidelines preferred • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project or similar scheduling software • Ability to work in Cath Labs or Operating Rooms with radiation exposure • Ability to work outside typical Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm schedule • Able to lift 20 pounds • Ability to use computers and CT reconstruction programming • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane • Ability to sit and stand for 8 hours/day • Ability to wear a lead apron for 2-3 hours on average • Must be able to operate a moving vehicle • Must be able to wear required PPE • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed • Must possess U.S. work authorization; Principal-level sponsorship may be available • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
