📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day field clinical study support, technical and education support, and site management, coordination and training for Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies clinical programs • Promote clinical programs through investigator education, new technologies and case support to achieve safe patient outcomes and company objectives • Conduct on-site education and/or consulting • Support field personnel in providing outcomes and service for Medtronic customers • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute enrollment plans • Participate in conventions, forums and meetings to increase product awareness • Provide customer case and education support with Therapy Development Management • Identify and facilitate growth opportunities with the Clinical Support Team • Serve as a technical resource for a specific medical product or solution • Assist in clinical study procedures, including Intrepid TMVR/TTVR device preparation and case support • Provide technical support, device and system troubleshooting, device suitability and patient-selection support • Provide comprehensive support involving echocardiography, angiography and CT imaging modalities • Provide clinical-site product feedback for engineering designs and enhancements and support research and development • Develop and maintain customer relationships and enrollment support with assigned sites • Establish and maintain relationships with principal investigators, research coordinators, operating room/cath lab staff, nursing units, decision makers and administrative staff • Serve as point of contact during patient screening and enrollment and collect required screening materials • Coordinate communication for shipping and return of products according to Medtronic policy • Assist with development and delivery of physician training materials, simulations, benchtop models, didactic sessions and case studies • Educate and train customer sites on technical matters through training sessions, in-service programs, seminars and symposiums • Provide training and resources for procedure certification and activation • Educate, mentor and train internal Medtronic employees

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/degree with a minimum of 8 years of clinical support, or Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of clinical support, or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical support, or Advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical support • Ability to travel approximately 75%, including international travel • Ability to work in Cath Labs or Operating Rooms with radiation exposure • Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, work-schedule • Able to lift 20 pounds • Hearing, sight and speaking ability • Ability to use computers and CT reconstruction programming • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane • Ability to sit and stand for 8 hours/day • Wear lead apron for long periods of time (2-3hrs on average) • Ability to operate a moving vehicle • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed • Ability to travel with overnight stay up to 75% of the time, including international travel • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • 3+ years Structural Heart industry field experience (preferred) • Experience with echocardiographic imaging of the mitral and/or tricuspid valve (preferred) • Experience using CT segmentation & analysis software, such as 3Mensio (preferred) • Experience with trans-septal procedures including TMVR or LAAC or other adjacent therapies (preferred) • Clinical Research experience, including coordinating multi-center trials, and/or significant structural heart field experience (preferred) • Experience presenting, writing and teaching clinical and medical information (preferred) • Experience with group presentations and interventional/surgical cardiac procedures (preferred) • Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials (preferred) • Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project or similar scheduling software, and project management techniques and tools (preferred) • U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles and above
