📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the subrogation team. • Oversee the execution of MEM’s subrogation program to maximize recovery opportunities and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. • Manage a personal caseload of complex and catastrophic subrogation files from investigation through resolution. • Collaborate with legal counsel and external partners to preserve rights and develop litigation strategies. • Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing subrogation training programs for claims staff. • Participate in claims leadership discussions and departmental initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field required. • 7-10 years of subrogation experience required. Relevant workers' compensation claims experience may be considered in lieu of direct subrogation experience. • Prior experience handling complex recovery matters, investigations, arbitration, and litigation-related activities. • Leadership, supervisory, or team development experience preferred. • Experience researching insurance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements strongly preferred. • Valid driver’s license required. • Claims Adjusting License preferred. • Associate in Claims (AIC) Preferred. • Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) Preferred. • Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) Preferred.
