📋 Description

• Advance the functionality and operational efficiency of assigned information systems and solutions • Analyze, design and develop new software modules • Advise, assist and train customers in system operation and administration • Collaborate with customers to enhance work methodologies and tools • Support project management activities and assist with project schedules, plans and timelines • Set priorities, understand business and clinical applications, answer technical questions and perform assigned tasks • Develop and deploy queries, simple applications, moderately complex reports and other business solutions using PC system development tools • Translate customer requests into software application solution specifications • Maintain detailed technical knowledge of assigned applications • Identify issues, develop options and recommendations, and communicate concerns to the Team Lead or Manager • Support customers in optimizing assigned applications and completing project-driven tasks • Participate in rotating after-hours application support • Provide customer training, support and problem resolution • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned • Ensure adherence to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, standards, safety requirements, budget, productivity and quality expectations • Serve as a preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or two years of experience • Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System • Basic working knowledge of application support, development tools and methodologies • Three years of increasingly responsible experience in corporate systems development and implementation activities preferred • Healthcare Management Information Systems (MIS) experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills • Ability to participate in a rotating after-hours application support call schedule • Ability to meet mandatory/continuing education and skills competency requirements
