📋 Description

• Lead the estate planning product squad • Own the estate planning roadmap across the eleven-step process from information gathering to signed documents and ongoing plan updates • Drive product development with engineering, design, data, and the development partner • Make decisions on product scope, sequencing, tradeoffs, and release readiness • Define success metrics, beginning with cycle time from intake to signed documents • Lead squad planning, demos, and retrospectives • Identify where AI can make estate planning faster, clearer, and more accurate • Decide what to automate and where strategists, attorneys, and paralegals remain involved • Own AI evaluations and accuracy measurement • Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to protect privileged and sensitive family information • Improve workflow visibility for strategists, attorneys, paralegals, advisors, and clients • Use shared Mercer Advisors platform capabilities rather than one-off tools • Set priorities and requirements for the development partner • Manage the development partner relationship, track delivery, surface risks, and recommend solutions when work slips • Co-own business outcomes with Estate Planning leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product management • Shipped products that moved a business metric and can explain measurement • Used AI to solve a real business problem in production • Shipped in a domain where accuracy and compliance matter • Led a cross-functional squad spanning engineering, design, and data • Directed an external development partner • Ability to turn complex, multi-step business processes into buildable engineering requirements • Experience with LLM evaluation and human-in-the-loop design, including building and running an eval set • Data fluency: define metrics, read dashboards, and perform independent analysis • Strong communication with engineers, strategists, and attorneys • Bias toward action without compromising quality • Comfortable with ambiguity and change in a live operating business • Client-obsessed approach • Experience in estate planning, legal, trust, or wealth management is a plus, not a requirement • Availability Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with occasional early or late hours
