📋 Description

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution across RapidAI's comprehensive neurology and brain disease portfolio • Expand the platform beyond acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke into traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, neurodegenerative conditions, and multi-modality lesion detection • Conduct market and product fit analysis, competitive analysis, and build business cases for portfolio growth and prioritization • Define integration architectures and product standards for third-party AI models for brain lesion identification, quantitative volumetrics, and specialized neuro-pathologies • Rapidly build and evaluate working prototypes using modern AI design and coding tools • Put clinical concepts in front of neurologists, neuroradiologists, and trauma teams to inform engineering commitment decisions • Author detailed epics, user stories, quantitative acceptance criteria, error states, and risk controls • Immerse regularly in the workflows of neuro-interventionalists, vascular neurologists, trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, and neuroradiologists • Translate complex clinical pain points into high-impact problem statements • Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Quality teams within the design-control process • Champion risk management, clinical validation, and clinical evaluation reports • Define model evaluation benchmarks, sensitivity/specificity profiles, and error mitigation strategies • Design safe, resilient UX patterns for potential false positives and false negatives • Partner with Design, AI Science, Engineering, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Product Marketing to drive global clinical adoption

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software product management experience • Proven track record of shipping clinical, digital health, or SaaS products relied upon by professionals in demanding workflows • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Neuroscience, Life Sciences, or related technical/health field (or equivalent professional experience) • Demonstrated experience or deep domain fluency in neurovascular or neurological diseases, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, tumors, or neurodegeneration • Familiarity with neuroimaging modalities: CT, CTA, CTP, and MRI • Demonstrated practice of incorporating AI tools into everyday workflows for requirement drafting, research synthesis, prototyping, and rapid analysis • Proven ability to author precise, testable user stories and engineering specifications accounting for complex clinical edge cases, error states, and data schemas • Experience scoping, evaluating, and launching partner integrations, third-party algorithms, or platform APIs with clean interoperability standards • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical and clinical decisions to clinicians, data scientists, engineers, and executive leaders • Preferred: Direct experience shipping Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), FDA 510(k) or De Novo submissions, CE-MDR, and working within ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and IEC 62366 design control standards • Preferred: Hands-on experience shipping computer vision/deep learning models for lesion segmentation, volumetric assessment, or computer-aided detection • Preferred: Prior clinical training, clinical research, or clinical trial background in neurology, neuroradiology, neurosurgery, or emergency medicine • Preferred: Working knowledge of DICOM, PACS/RIS, HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance • Preferred: Experience collaborating with premier academic medical centers or global research consortia
