📋 Description

• Conduct multiline loss control surveys of prospects and clients to evaluate operations, exposures, and controls for underwriting decisions • Prepare reports for Underwriting and recommendations for customers • Assist in developing and presenting programs and training seminars for clients and other company departments • Respond to special requests from Underwriting and clients with prior approval from Loss Control Department Management • Assist in achieving commercial lines loss ratio objectives for assigned territories • Assist in achieving commercial lines production goals for assigned territories • Survey and service larger and more complex accounts • Lead training and education sessions • Participate in special projects and programs developed within the company • Act as a safety-related expert for underwriters, agents, and insureds • Provide risk management and consultation services to prevent and reduce policyholder losses

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year degree or equivalent work-related experience • Currently possess or actively pursue one or more of: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Risk Manager (CRM); Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) is a plus • 3 years of loss control experience • Ability to travel 80% of the work week • Valid driver’s license required • Strong safety and loss control experience • Strong understanding of liability exposures and contracts • Knowledge of industry developments and trends • Working knowledge of Loss Control Management Systems, RCI or similar systems • Ability to work with assigned hardware using corporate procedures • Exceptional organization, verbal, and written communication skills highly desirable
