📋 Description

• Work on research-level physics problems in the applicant’s own subfield • Create, solve, review, or audit physics problems depending on publication record and subfield match • Produce complete written reasoning that another specialist can independently follow and verify • Apply specialized methods in special function analysis, integrability, combinatorics, or conformal geometry • Provide up to five suitable areas and an arXiv ID or DOI for each supporting paper, including author position and demonstrated methods • Complete the application form covering basic information, education, research experience, and method self-attestation • Participate in onboarding or a short live alignment call to agree on the area and assignment • Complete a 30–45 minute assessment if required • Collaborate on projects training and enhancing frontier AI systems

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in mathematical physics, theoretical physics, or mathematics (hard requirement) • Published work on at least one specified phenomenon: special functions, integrable systems, permutation combinatorics for random tensor network entanglement, or conformal geometry • Verifiable publication record with three to five representative papers including arXiv IDs or DOIs, ideally from the last five years • First-author publication experience strongly preferred • Working proficiency with LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter • Familiarity with an agentic coding extension in VS Code is useful • English at B2 level or above, including written reasoning • Ability to provide complete, independently verifiable written reasoning • Postdoctoral researchers, research scientists, junior faculty, and senior PhD students with a strong first-author record are encouraged to apply • Must be able to commit 10 hours per week across an 8–10 week window, starting immediately • Independent contractor status • H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
