📋 Description

• Build a working financial model of an assigned infrastructure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack • Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions • Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria • Provide a short written rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard • Complete approximately 20–25 hours of work over 1.5–2 weeks • Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years total experience • Approximately 2 years of investment banking experience in infrastructure, power & utilities, or real estate / TMT M&A • Followed by 1–2 years in infrastructure private equity • Currently or recently an Associate at an infrastructure-focused PE fund, or the infrastructure arm of a multi-strategy manager • Exposure to digital infrastructure, including data centres, fibre, or towers • Ability to build a financial model from source documents without a template • Fluent English • Must be able to work as an independent contractor • Mercor is unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
