📋 Description

• Run full-cycle Director and VP searches focused on Engineering, Product, Design, and Data leadership • Break down roles with hiring managers and create market maps and target lists • Discuss scope, team, and tradeoffs with senior candidates and represent Mercury's leadership • Use market data to advise hiring managers, challenge unrealistic specifications, and identify stalled searches • Host executive talent events and build a network of leaders for roles expected in the next 12 to 24 months • Participate in hiring sprints and other high-priority searches across Mercury • Provide senior candidates with a memorable experience from initial contact through offer

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle, in-house recruiting across a range of functions at a growing company • Experience running Director+ searches, and an interest in making them most of your work • Track record as a trusted advisor to senior hiring managers, ideally CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or product leaders • Relationships with senior people built well before they were needed • Clear, precise writing and communication skills • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Gem, Metaview, or similar tools • Technical leadership hiring in Engineering, Product, Data, or Security is a strong plus • Recruiting at a fintech or other regulated tech company is a strong plus • Running events, dinners, or communities for senior talent is a strong plus • Time at a retained search firm before moving in-house is a strong plus
