📋 Description

• Research actual cash value of vehicles using current market information to reach equitable total-loss settlements • Confirm title status and research customizations, prior damage, and vehicle condition • Identify salvage-title, grey-market, custom/modified, and prior-damage vehicles to determine true market value • Review DMV reports and identify correct ownership-transfer documents • Secure lienholder payoff amounts and Letters of Guarantee • Negotiate storage fees with body shops and towing yards • Respond to written correspondence and route requests for correct paperwork • Stay current on vehicle values, industry and market trends, state licensing, and company policies and procedures • Contact adjusters to confirm coverage, identify potential limits issues or possible fraudulent activity, and obtain property-damage settlement approval • Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, or representatives regarding total-loss claims • Maintain comprehensive material-damage documentation and submit timely reports • Complete comprehensive training and work with ongoing guidance and support

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Required to obtain a Company sponsored Adjuster’s license upon hire, including a fingerprint background check • Experience with Total Loss handling or customer service experience • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Teams) and claims related software • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver accurate work products • Ability to facilitate engagement and maintain high morale • Ability to collaborate well with others • Ability to build rapport utilizing emotional intelligence • Self-motivation and accountability while working remotely • Must have a dedicated workspace free from distractions • Must be able to maintain a sedentary position for extended periods • Must be able to communicate electronically and telephonically with team members, customers, and external parties • Must be able to operate and type on a computer, laptop, and/or other Company-issued electronic device for extended periods • Must be able to access and operate the Company computer system • Preferred: Associate Degree • Preferred: 6+ months related experience • Preferred: Experience handling high call volume in a professional call center
