• Perform compliance activities for assigned high-risk healthcare compliance areas • Assist with investigations, monitoring, tracking, and reporting for operational compliance • Support compliance awareness and training and promote a culture of compliance • Collaborate with leaders, associates, vendors, and operational stakeholders on compliance concerns and activities • Research regulations, laws, and policies • Draft engagement letters, policies, and procedures • Review records and identify compliance opportunities • Implement and monitor corrective action plans • Triage, monitor, document, and respond to potential non-compliance reports and Compliance Helpline inquiries • Participate in compliance workgroups and committees • Coordinate daily activities with compliance vendor systems and resolve service-related issues • Develop reports, mitigation plans, and risk assessments with other Compliance Generalists • Develop educational programs and prepare and deliver compliance training materials • Research and recommend updates to compliance policies and procedures • Accurately maintain compliance documentation and prepare summary reports
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare operations, business administration, or related field (required) • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare compliance (required) • Certified in Healthcare Compliance – Health Care Compliance Association (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare systems (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare laws (preferred) • Maintain working knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, OIG, Stark, Anti-Kickback, and other key healthcare regulations • Basic auditing and monitoring protocols • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency • Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems • Ability to collect and synthesize compliance data • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
