📋 Description

• Own the roadmap for MeridianLink Collect, a cloud-based collections and recovery platform serving credit unions and community banks • Lead continuous discovery with collections managers, VPs of Collections, collectors, and compliance officers using interviews, usage analytics, and performance data • Write PRDs and user stories covering the full delinquency lifecycle • Drive agile delivery ceremonies and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to team OKRs • Define and monitor collections product KPIs and use them to inform prioritization and demonstrate business impact • Partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Compliance to align stakeholders and unblock delivery • Serve as the collections domain expert and translate collector workflows into product requirements • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on positioning, enablement, and proof points • Contribute to product portfolio strategy discussions • Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Security to translate regulatory guidance into configurable platform controls • Assess emerging technology opportunities for recovery outcomes and collector effectiveness • Own product thinking for integrations with core banking platforms and third-party vendors • Track consumer collections trends, delinquency and charge-off dynamics, competitive movement, and regulatory developments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant product management experience • Proven track record owning a product area end-to-end: discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration • Experience managing API-integrated software products with multiple stakeholder groups • Strong command of agile methodologies and modern product discovery practices, including Jobs-to-Be-Done and continuous discovery • Comfort using data and product analytics tools to drive decisions and measure outcomes • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complexity and align diverse stakeholders • Deep customer empathy and experience translating user insights into shipped improvements • Comfort operating in a regulated product domain where design decisions can create compliance exposure • Strongly preferred: 0-to-1 product, module, or capability experience • Strongly preferred: direct collections, recovery, loss mitigation, or default servicing experience • Strongly preferred: working knowledge of FDCPA, Regulation F, TCPA, SCRA/MLA, FCRA/Metro 2, UDAAP, and CFPB supervisory expectations • Strongly preferred: experience building compliance-by-design capabilities, including contact-limit enforcement, opt-out management, consent tracking, and audit trails • Strongly preferred: experience with bankruptcy, repossession, charge-off, post-charge-off workflows, collection agency placement, or recovery vendor management • Strongly preferred: familiarity with Symitar/Episys, Fiserv DNA, Corelation/Keystone, FIS, and batch-plus-API integration patterns • Strongly preferred: familiarity with ACH, card rails, Reg E error resolution, and PCI DSS • Strongly preferred: exposure to AI/ML in regulated product contexts • Strongly preferred: experience working with or selling to banks, credit unions, or other regulated financial institutions • MeridianLink runs a comprehensive background check, credit check, and drug test as part of its offer process • Applicants must be able to legally work in the United States; the application asks whether future sponsorship will be required
